edit: I wonder why the dishonorable Jesse Jackson or the snake tongued Al Sharpton haven't yet started the protests of "racism" in this disgusting case. Ohh well guess we will have to find out weather the little girl was white, if she is I 'm sure there will be. After all if she was white it was her fault for being white and the cop couldn't help himself, the sufferink of slavery lives on, and we need to be sensitive to it!

edit: I hope I don't or haven't offended anyone. I am just sick of hypocritical double standards. We are grown ups and I think we can stop playing the MSM games of ignoring problems.

A few years ago I was watching a documentary about a man who's brother was hung at some playground after the OJ Simpson verdict. This decent and soft spoken gentleman went to washington to see Al Sharpton to ask if he could help get his brothers death investigated. When he got to washington and met Al Sharpton, he showed Al the police picture of his brother hanging and Al barely stopped to glance at it. Here was a black man who's brother was found hanging at a park, you would think that this would be THE type of thing that would call for Al or Jesse, but no neither Al nor Jesse gave him the time of day. From that day on I knew what kind of snakes these two were and whenever I hear about either of the two the picture of that kid hanging sticks in my mind.

Comprehensive Economic Revitalization Plan(Ron Paul)

by Ron Paul
Introduction

America became the greatest, most prosperous nation in human history through low taxes, constitutionally limited government, personal freedom and a belief in sound money. We need to return to these principles so our economy can thrive again. When enacted, my plan will provide both short-term stimulus and lay the groundwork for long-term prosperity.

Corporate Power Kills the People's Democratic Campaign

We are simply too weak to mount a viable progressive campaign against the corporate-led DNC machine and their control of mass media. Not to mention the corporate-controlled courts and FCC.

What will it take? This can't be discussed on a corporate-controlled Google blog.

I am predicting another Repub victory in 2008 as the DNC will figure out how to blow it again, running candidates who stand for nothing and inspire few. Don't forget, also, that there are 20 states who have non-verifiable voting processes.

When Rove gets his anti-female, anti-black, anti-muslim playbook out, the DNC will be crushed.

Again.

Best of luck to Ron Paul.

Tasering the Country Into Submission, We Are a Police State

Day by day our civil liberties are eroded in a purposeful campaign to turn this country into a police state. They start with pretending that seat belt laws are designed for safety, when it really just gives the police another reason to pull you over. Same goes for cell phone laws. Then they place cameras at red lights to generate revenue without applying any resources. We all sit silent. The First Amendment used to... Kill the first amendment

LAS VEGAS - The Nevada Supreme Court said Tuesday MSNBC can exclude Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich from a candidate debate.

Lawyers for NBC Universal Inc., had asked the high court to overturn a lower court order that the cable TV news network include the Ohio congressman or pull the plug on broadcasting the debate Tuesday night with Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards.

The state Supreme Court's unanimous order said that blocking the debate unless Kucinich got to participate would be "an unconstitutional prior restraint" on the news network's First Amendment rights. The justices also said the lower court exceeded its jurisdiction by ordering Kucinich's participation even though he first requested and was denied relief from the Federal Communications Commission.

"It's a matter of being on stage and answering questions. That's the issue," lawyer Bill McGaha argued for Kucinich during a hearing before four justices in Las Vegas. Three other justices participated by closed-circuit video conference from Carson City.

Donald Campbell, a Las Vegas lawyer representing NBC Universal, accused Kucinich of trying to make a jurisdictional "end run" around the FCC and federal courts by suing in Nevada state court to be added to the debate.

FCC broadcast rules do not apply to cable TV networks, Campbell said, adding that forcing MSNBC to add Kucinich or not broadcast the debate amounted to prior restraint and would be a "clear and unequivocal" violation of First Amendment press freedom.

"Mr. Kucinich's claim ... undermines the wide journalistic freedoms enjoyed by news organizations under the First Amendment," Campbell said in his appeal.

Kucinich emerged from the hearing saying he would make no comment until the justices ruled. He headed for a rally in front of the Las Vegas meeting hall where the debate was scheduled.

Jeremy Gaines, a spokesman for MSNBC, said the cable network also was awaiting a decision from the court. He declined further comment.

Campbell said MSNBC decided to go with the top three candidates after the Iowa and New Hampshire primaries. Kucinich drew less than 2 percent of the Democratic vote in the New Hampshire primary, after attracting little support in the Iowa caucuses.

What follows is the contact for the Nevada Supreme Court:

What Is the Number One Issue?

The latest polls say it's probably the "economy." That would include things like job security and health care. As someone who has began to look at a post-layoff budget, the health care line item is pretty damn disturbing. For two people, it's almost as much as a small mortgage, for crying out loud. I hate how the media separates the issue of the "economy" from the BILLIONS that are being wasted on wars of occupation.

The number one cause for bankruptcy in America is health care costs. A family member gets laid up in a hospital bed, and you're bank account will be drained, and your debt will be astronomical. This can possibly even if you HAVE health coverage. For an industrially advanced country such as ours, this is repulsive.

Kucinich's plan would not only address the 147 Million uninsured and 150+ Million underinsured needs, but save more than $350 BILLION a year. (see link)

The question is, how can the extremely weak, disorganized and distracted, ADD-ridden American public be activated in a direction to make such a plan a reality?

Kunicich Back in Nevada Debate....for now

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080115/ap_po/kucinich_debate_7

"NBC News said Monday it will appeal a judge's ruling rather than include Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich in a candidates' debate in Nevada.

"We disagree with the judge's decision and are filing an appeal," said a statement provided by Jeremy Gaines, a vice president for MSNBC, sponsor of Tuesday night's debate. Gaines said the parent network would seek an immediate hearing before the Nevada Supreme Court.

Hours earlier, Senior Clark County District Court Judge Charles Thompson ruled that Kucinich, an Ohio congressman, must be allowed to participate. If he is excluded, Thompson said he would issue an injunction to stop the televised debate."

Why the Media Hates Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich

Written back in November, but just came across this:

http://www.ickypeople.com/2007/11/why-media-hates-ron-paul-and-dennis.html

The First Jewish President?

In a bold move that could dramatically alter the playing field of the 2008 GOP presidential race, former Arkansas Gov.Mike Huckabee today named Jesus Christ as his vice presidential running mate. Huckabee has made an increasing number of comments about his relationship with Jesus in recent debates, but few Republican insiders expected him to announce that he was anointing Christ as his vice presidential pick.

"This could be huge for Huckabee," said Stenson Partridge, a veteran GOP consultant. "Among Republican voters, Jesus Christ is even more popular than Ronald Reagan."

The Rev. Pat Robertson, a supporter of former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, said he was "blindsided" by the news of Huckabee's decision: "I talked to Jesus last night, and he didn't mention anything about it."

At a raucous Huckabee rally in Davenport, Iowa, today, supporters of the former Arkansas governor could be seen holding signs reading HUCKABEE/CHRIST in 2008 It is "highly unorthodox" for a presidential candidate to select a vice presidential running mate who is a prominent figure in the Holy Bible, says Davis Logsdon, dean of the School of Divinity at the University of Minnesota.

But according to Logsdon, if the Huckabee-Christ ticketmakes it all the way to the White House, it could be historic in more ways than one:

"If Huckabee is elected and then something happens to him while in office, we would be looking at our first Jewish president."

Frank Luntz: Exposed

"None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free." - Goethe

During the Fox News debate in South Carolina, a man named Frank Luntz ran a focus group. This focus group was meant to look diverse and randomly picked, but that is not the case. During the focus group he says something very strange indeed, he says "I'm gonna make your bosses nervous, was it right to include Ron Paul in this debate, yes or no?". What, he is going to make their bosses nervous? Well unless they worked for Fox News, who had been butting heads with Dr.Paul and his supporters all week, why would their bosses be nervous? As if the deliberate omission of candidates from their debates wasn't bad enough. But to put on a scripted, phony focus group, and pass it off as genuine is about as far from a fair environment to debate in as you can get.

This focus group was asked about Fred Thompson, and you knew that he was the one Frank Luntz was pushing. Loaded question after loaded question. He finally asks who lost the debate and in sort of robotic, mindless manner they unanimously declare Ron Paul as the loser. The final shame of this farce is when the results of Fox's own cell phone poll came in with overwhelming support of Dr. Paul. Immediately Sean Hannity dismisses the validity of the poll and continues to exalt their chosen man of the hour Fred Thompson.

While I have had no illusions of the depravity of Fox News, and to a lesser extent CNN and MSNBC, but the way they are making the decisions for the public has gone way too far.

Here is the clip of Frank Luntz; the comment happens at 9:10

"Super Delegates"

They are sort of like the "Electoral College" for the Dem Party. If any upstart candidate gets too many delegates during the primaries, the Carville/McCollough types can bank on a huge pool of insider DNC-directed hacks to get behind their candidate (hillary) in the convention.

This, coupled with huge differences in war-chests, ties to mass media (to exclude people from debates) and state Party machinery (to change the rules and eliminate candidates' names from the ballot), and non-verifiable, hackable voting machines are some of the many ways that the will of the people can be circumvented. All leading to apathy, low voter turnout, and a continuation of the status quo (for the most part).

NBC Changes Criteria to Exclude Kucinich From Debates

Gotta just love this "Democracy" we live in. And let's be clear, this IS what "bourgeois" democracy is all about. Democracy for the rulers. Only.
-ww
--------------------------------------------------------
This was an email received from the Kucinich campaign today:

Re-writes criteria to exclude candidate with 'dissenting' positions

For Immediate Release - Friday, January 11, 2008

DETROIT, MI - Less than 44 hours after NBC sent a congratulatory note and
an invitation to Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich to participate in the
Jan. 15 Democratic Presidential debate in Las Vegas, the network notified
the campaign this morning it was changing its announced criteria,
rescinding its invitation, and excluding Kucinich from the debate.

NBC Political Director Chuck Todd notified the Kucinich campaign this
morning that, although Kucinich had met the qualification criteria
publicly announced on December 28, the network was "re-doing" the
criteria, excluding Kucinich, and planning to invite only Senators Hillary
Clinton and Barack Obama and former senator John Edwards.

The criteria announced last month included a fourth-place or better
showing in a national poll. The USA/Gallup poll earlier this month showed
Kucinich in fourth place among the Democratic contenders.

In an email to the Kucinich campaign at 2:35 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9,
Democratic Party debates consultant Jenny Backus wrote:

"Congratulations on another hard-fought contest. Now that New Hampshire is
over, we are on to Nevada and our Presidential Debate on Tuesday January
15. This letter serves as an official invitation for your candidate to
participate in the Nevada Presidential Debate at Cashman Theatre in
downtown Las Vegas. You have met the criteria set by NBC and the Debate."

Todd notified the Kucinich campaign this morning that the network had
decided to change the criteria and limit participation in the debate to
only three candidates.

Kucinich is the only remaining Democratic Presidential candidate who:
voted against the original Iraq War authorization in 2002 and every
war-funding measure since; voted against the so-called Patriot Act;
advocates a national, not-for-profit health system that covers all
Americans; has called for the repeal of NAFTA and withdrawal from the WTO;
and proposes a national back-to-work program (Works Green Administration)
patterned after the Depression-era Works Progress Administration (WPA).

The Kucinich campaign, which filed an emergency complaint with the Federal
Communications Commission last week because of ABC's decision to exclude
the candidate from a nationally televised debate, is considering legal
action to address "the blatant disregard of the public interest in
silencing public debate that dissents with the views of NBC, its parent
company, GE, and all of the military contractors and their
candidate-funding corporate interests. Corporate control of the media is
one issue. Corporate media control of the information that is allowed to
reach American citizens is much more dangerous, much more sinister, and
much more un-American."

"When 'big media' exert their unbridled control over what Americans can
see, hear, and read, then the Constitutional power and right of the
citizens to vote is being vetoed by multi-billion corporations that want
the votes to go their way," the Kucinich campaign said.

Evening Ramblings

Few notes... I tried getting tickets through work to the Democratic debate in Hollywood but was unable to. I have had time to decide that that is probably not a bad thing. I have some interesting takes on the current state of political discourse these days. It seems that most people I talk to are following roughly the results of Iowa and New Hampshire. However, I don't think many really understand all of the candidates, issues, history, money, etc. that is part of this process. I don't even have a 1/1000th of the knowledge I should have. Everyone has an opinion though. Hmmm...

It turns out the Los Angeles Lakers are only 1 game out of first place in the whole Western Conference. That's awesome. My (ex?)boss has an interesting theory that much of the Lakers' current success can be attributed to having 0.4 Fisher back on the squad. However, that guy is a Utah Jazz fan so I don't know how seriously I can take him...

I feel the need to reiterate how unbelievably good "There Will Be Blood" was. It was unbelievably good.

I am going to try to see either the Murakami exhibit tomorrow (Oops, I won't be out of work in time) or the Photo LA exhibit in the evening. Saturday, I was going to go see Point Break Live, but just found out tickets are sold out. I will let people know when I will be setting up a group outing for this. So in the time I was writing this, I found basically everything I wanted to try to do this weekend does not really work or fit into my schedule. YAY!!!

This has been an interesting year so far. It is only 10 days in and I feel like so much has happened. Maybe nothing has though.

I know Volksgeist has been talking about the poor state of economy. I looked at my 401k the the other day and found that within the first week of this new year, my rate of return was -4.2%. Granted, 401ks will fluctuate and it will grow over time (in theory). However, every fund except for the preservation showed a 1 month decline. I hope things change soon.

When I went up to Vancouver in September, I got a speeding ticket in Oregon. I forgot to pay it. I just received a letter in the mail from the Oregon Courts. I hope I can just pay it and not have my lisence suspended or go to jail. I liked Oregon. I hope they let me back in...

Message from Ron: Onward!

Message from Ron: Onward! (1/10/08)

Did you see that funny YouTube where Mike Huckabee's young Iowa spokesman endorsed me, "by mistake"? We know what was in his mind! Indeed, I am amazed at the friendliness of the supporters of other candidates. Many Obama voters, for example, in Iowa and New Hampshire are reading our literature, and studying our ideas. It's just one of the reasons I am so optimistic about what we are doing, and where we are heading. And so were the 500 or 600 people at our New Hampshire rally after the primary. I talked to everyone there, and they are rightly enthusiastic about our movement.

This does not mean we will have an easy time of it -- just the opposite, of course. After all, we are seeking to reverse more than a century of big government, of the warfare-welfare state, of Federal Reserve's dollar manipulation, of a fat and happy military-industrial complex, of the subversion of our Constitution. So all the media and other "second-hand dealers in ideas," as F.A. Hayek called them, who have a vested interest in the current order, will do everything possible to smear me. They will do and say anything to try to block our movement. Even vote fraud is not beyond these people.

And we have been successful. This movement has always operated on two tracks -- intellectual and political, and must. The first and most important is the intellectual. Such heroes of freedom as Ludwig von Mises, Hayek, Henry Hazlitt, Murray Rothbard, and so many others like Rose Wilder Lane, John T. Flynn, Isabel Patterson, and Garret Garrett, have helped build the foundations of freedom, prosperity, and peace. We carry on their work, to change hearts and minds.

The other track is political. Here too, we have touched millions with our ideas, and recruited many, many thousands -- not only in Meetup Groups and as voters, but as sympathizers and future voters too. Walter Block was kind enough to call this effort the most important in the long history of libertarianism. I don't know about that, but I do know that even if we place a solid fourth, rather than the higher place we all want and are working so hard for, that is huge progress.

But we can never forget that this is a long struggle. Many great men and women have lived and died in this cause. I have been deeply involved in it all my life. It is a matter of educational work, and elections. We may not accomplish all we want, in one or even two elections. But we will accomplish it. Young people now living will see the free society that you and I dream of, as their everyday reality, an America at peace, prosperous and free, with the federal government chained down by the Constitution, as Jefferson said.

Does this mean our campaign has done everything right? No! We have made mistakes, and will make them again. Not only because errors are to be found in any human endeavor, but because an effort like this, to repeal a hundred years and more of evil, is brand-new on the face of the earth. But now is the time to stick together like the brothers and sisters we are, to stand side by side in this fight against the media toadies, warmongers, and Wall Street rip-off artists who stand against us, and who always remind me of Tolkein's Orcs.

If you have suggestions for me to do better, I want to hear them. But beating back the enemy, teaching so many young people and others about liberty, that is our victory, and it is real and permanent. Won't you link arms with me? We will have more vote victories too, if we stick together and do not let the enemy divide us.

As you know, and as our neocon enemies try to cover up, we are in a financial crisis. It may chug along at this pace, slowly into recession, or it might drop off a cliff, like the dollar. In that case, we will have the only coherent solution, and we must get our message out.

All my life, I've been working to make sure that when the Fed had done its work, and the special interests had looted the system to their hearts' content, and there was a crisis, I would be in a position to speak the truth about why, and what to do about it. In this fight, I need your heart, your mind, your time, and your financial support. I also need you to become a precinct leader https://voters.ronpaul2008.com/grassroots/ . What a fight we are in. What stakes there are. Together, we can build a new America faithful to the values of the framers. Bother the enemy, help the good cause: make your most generous contribution https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate/, and let's roll up our sleeves and get to work, together.

Anti-Smokers Raus!

While I already have much pride in my German heritage, today I read an article that really hit home and made my pride swell to new highs. At a German computer company in Berlin, three non-smoker employees had requested a "smoke free environment". Well instead of complying and pissing off the majority of workers, their boss fired the trio!

What Does Freedom Really Mean?

What Does Freedom Really Mean?

By Dr. Ron Paul February 7, 2005

“…man is not free unless government is limited. There's a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: As government expands, liberty contracts.” -Ronald Reagan

We’ve all heard the words democracy and freedom used countless times, especially in the context of our invasion of Iraq. They are used interchangeably in modern political discourse, yet their true meanings are very different.

George Orwell wrote about “meaningless words” that are endlessly repeated in the political arena*. Words like “freedom,” “democracy,” and “justice,” Orwell explained, have been abused so long that their original meanings have been eviscerated. In Orwell’s view, political words were “Often used in a consciously dishonest way.” Without precise meanings behind words, politicians and elites can obscure reality and condition people to reflexively associate certain words with positive or negative perceptions. In other words, unpleasant facts can be hidden behind purposely meaningless language. As a result, Americans have been conditioned to accept the word “democracy” as a synonym for freedom, and thus to believe that democracy is unquestionably good.

Vote Fraud is Occurring

This was a frowarded email from another man who fight's the fight...

Other Pre-Election Numbers, For Republicans and Rest of Dems, Nearly Dead on the Money...

[UPDATED several times at end of article, and still developing with new updates...]

I'm not sure why Obama would have conceded so soon, given the virtually inexplicable turn of events in New Hampshire tonight.

What's going on here? Before proceeding, I recommend you read the third section of the post I just ran an hour or so ago, concerning the way the ballots are counted in New Hampshire, largely on Diebold optical-scan voting systems, wholly controlled and programmed by a very very bad company named LHS Associates.

Those Diebold op-scan machines are the exact same ones that were hacked in the HBO documentary, Hacking Democracy. See the previous report, as I recommend, which also includes a video of that hack, and footage of the guy who runs LHS Associates.

That said, the the pre-election pollster's numbers (NOTE: that's not Exit Polls, but Pre-Election Polls!) were dead-on, for the most part, on the Republican side, as well as on the Democratic side. Except in the do-or-die (for Hillary) Clinton v. Obama race. I'm watching MSNBC right now, and they all seem to agree that the results, for the moment, defy explanation.

I concur.

Here's a screenshot of a round up of all of the latest polls from RealClearPolitics.com tonight, and more, to get an idea of the serious concerns here...

They were all not just wrong, but wildly wrong. But only for the Clinton/Obama race.

For a closer look, here's Zogby's predicted numbers, for both the Republicans and Democrats:

And here are the latest numbers from the MSNBC website (the numbers seem to be identical over at CNN and elsewhere):

As you'll note, the numbers in Zogby's latest polls, for all but Clinton and Obama, seem to have been dead-on the money for both the Republicans and Democrats. Edwards, for example, was polled at 17% in Zogby's poll, and he received exactly 17% in the MSNBC numbers, with 63% of precincts reporting. So are we to believe that only those voters who preferred Obama previously, decided to change to Hillary at the last minute? I suppose so.

This election was regarded as do-or-die for Clinton, after most in the media had already written her off after her "thumpin'" in Iowa. But Tim Russert just agreed with Brokaw and Matthews that "this was the most stunning upset in the history of politics."

They are already grasping for reasons that this happened: the crying; she found her voice; the women turned out; oldline Dems showed up, etc. All reminiscent, if you ask me, of "the evangelicals who turned out at the very last minute to vote for Bush in 2004" as the Exit Poll apologists wrote in what would become conventional wisdom at the time. (Where did they get that info? The Exit Polls, they'll tell you. The same ones that they will also tell you were wildly wrong on every other count, apparently.)

Olbermann just called it "a titanic upset victory" for Clinton.

So, with another nod to the third section of the article I posted earlier here tonight, what's going on here?

While I have no evidence at this time --- let me repeat, no evidence at this time --- of chicanery, what we do know is that chicanery, with this particular voting system, is not particularly difficult. Particularly when one private company --- and a less-than-respectable one at that, as I detailed in the previous post --- runs the entire process.

I should also note that some 40% of New Hampshire's precincts are hand-counted, which equals about 25% of the votes. All the rest are counted on hackable Diebold op-scan systems, with completely hackable memory cards, all programmed and managed by LHS Associates. As Bev Harris of BlackBoxVoting.org who seems to share my concern, says, LHS is the "chain of custody" in New Hampshire elections.

Other folks that I've spoken to, who follow this sort of thing, share my concern at this hour. Harris noted that it will be interesting to compare numbers of the hand-counted precincts with those counted on the hackable Diebold op-scan systems.

If I was Barack Obama, I'd certainly not have conceded this election this quickly. I'm not quite sure what he was thinking. And as far as offering an indication of whether he understands how these systems work, and the necessity of making sure that votes are counted, and counted accurately, it does not offer a great deal of confidence at this hour.

I'm trying to get in touch with his campaign, to let them know of these concerns. I hope you'll feel free to let them know as well, if any of you happen to be in touch with them, or a part of the campaign. I will, of course, be happy to discuss these concerns with them if they wish to call.

As mentioned, the numbers referred to above are not Exit Polls. They are Pre-Election Polls which are far less reliable than Exit Polls. So, if anybody knows where any decent Exit Polling data is, we'd appreciate it if you linked it in comments below...

UPDATE 9:18pm PT: This AP report includes information, said to be based on data from the Exit Polls. It indicates that the independents in NH, who may vote in either the R or D primary, voted mostly D, and were breaking for Obama. AP claims, however, that the same data show that Clinton's strength with women "offset that"...

Early exit poll data indicated six in 10 independents opted for the Democratic contest and Obama led among them, but Clinton's advantage among women offset that.
...
The results are from exit polls Tuesday in 50 precincts around New Hampshire for The Associated Press and television networks by Edison Media Research and Mitofsky International. The Democratic primary survey interviewed 1,800 voters, the Republican primary poll 1,301. The sampling error margin was plus or minus 4 percentage points for each exit poll.

Note: the Exit Pollsters used here were Mitofsky/Edison, the same ones who ran the infamous Exits in 2004 showing that, in state after state, Kerry should have won. They also later said their own polling was completely wrong (which is disputed strongly by statistics experts such as U. of Pennsylvania Prof. Steven F. Freeman Ph.D.) So, it's lovely that AP and the TV nets hired them again...

UPDATE 9:40pm PT: While the talking heads are trying to figure out what happened here on MSNBC, Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post, while paging through a stack of papers said to be Exit Poll data, just said: "Of those who made up their mind in the last three days, there was a slight favoring for Obama. If there was a huge difference in a move to Hillary, in the last three days, it doesn't seem to be reflected in the Exit Polling."

UPDATE 9:48pm PT: Olbermann repeated what Russert had said earlier, that Obama's internal polls showed him winning by 14%, Clinton's internal polls had Obama winning by 11%.

The effect of Obama being an African-American, the so-called "Bradley Effect", is now being discussed as the newest "reason" to explain the numbers. Though it's noted that it didn't effect Harold Ford in TN in '06, or even Obama in Iowa just five days ago.

(ADDED: Josh Holland from Alternet points out via email, correctly, concerning my point about the "Bradley Effect" not coming into play in Iowa: "The 'Bradley effect' would not work in an open caucus, where everyone can see whom everyone else is supporting. The theory requires the privacy of a voting booth." He's correct. Thanks for pointing that out! --- BF)

UPDATE 11:06pm PT: As we know, the presumption is always that the polls were wrong. Never the results. Despite how much less transparent the system used to count votes is than the system used to collect polling data. With that in mind, Matthew Yglesias at The Atlantic, makes the following point, in a post headlined "How Wrong Were the Polls?", suggesting that the only numbers that changed here were Clinton's. She surged. Everyone else, even Obama who just had an historic victory in Iowa five days ago, did not...

Voter Fraud Against Ron Paul Verified

Voter Fraud Against Paul Confirmed in Sutton, N.H.
According to a post this evening on the Ron Paul Forums, vote fraud occurred in Sutton, New Hampshire:

Sutton with 100% reporting reported 0 votes for paul but poster in Sutton posted:
My mom, aunt, and dad all voted for RP today in my hometown, My mom and aunt both work passing out ballots, and checking them off. I just looked at the politico map and it says their town has ZERO votes for Ron. Now i know that there isn’t corruption on voting in that little town, so where they reported it must be. What do I do, anyone know???
Read More Here...

I was extremely sickened by the possible ramifications of these timorous developments and I was quite upset at Ron Paul's low polling numbers at the New Hampshire caucus, but I was ready to move on and hit South Carolina hard with campaigning. Now we are in for quite a battle to get a recount done, and this has lit a new fire in my belly. I came to the realization that this is the first battle of the R[3VOL]UTION. This is the time where we will be tested. Tested in our resolve, tested in our dedication. Let this injustice fan the flames of freedom and liberty in your hearts. We have not yet begun to fight!

Edit:
I held off on posting this until it could be confirmed, and it has been. Today on Alex Jones' radio show he had a woman named Bev Harris, of blackboxvoting.org, as a guest. Bev Harris confirmed with the Sutton, New Hampshire clerk that Ron Paul did in fact receive 31 votes, and not 0 as reported in the polls.

Time is not on my side

I like John Q Public calling me out... I have not had (or made) time to really delve into any posts recently. I have, however, been paying a lot more attention to shit out there. I still need to look at every candidate and issue in more depth... Here are a few discombobulate rants:

Public, I know you are going to CES so I wanted to see if you'll go to this if it isn't to late:

"FCC Chairman Kevin Martin will join the Industry Insider Series of panelists at CES next week, joining CEA CEO Gary Shapiro in a one-on-one discussion about the upcoming 700 MHz spectrum auction and broadband deployment. For the first time ever all 5 FCC commissioners will appear at the conference, forecast to attract 2,700 exhibitors, 140,000 attendees and take up 1.85 million square feet of exhibition space."
1) Google will be bidding for this spectrum. 2) Kevin Martin is a real douche who is enabling corporate culture infiltrate and destroy our first amendment through the elimination of a free press...

"The Recording Industry of America has drawn a new line in the sand for digital music users claiming that the act of ripping a purchased CD onto a PC is illegal, according to lawsuit covered in The Washington Post. The RIAA is seeking legal fees from an Arizona man who simply transferred a collection of 2,000 CDs onto his computer."

Anyhow, I would like to know when any of you are going to a political event as I might want to attend as well. Please advise.

What I Did Today For Our Cause(Ron Paul)

While reading the forums over at www.dailypaul.com I came upon a comment by a brave woman. She is a 53 year old, semi-disabled grandmother, who did more in one day than most of us have done our whole lives, for the cause of freedom. I post her comment in full below with full confidence that she would encourage me sharing this with anyone who will listen.

"This morning one of you posted a link to todays WorldNetDaily, headlines reads, "Swat team takes 11 yr old at gun point". The incident took place 90 miles down the rode from me. Well folks, that incident put me over the top.

First I went and talk to the Sheriff and told him all about it. I told him many things today. I told him we knew about the Urban Warrior Project and I asked him what he thought about those Blackwater ads in our local classifieds....they're hiring here you guys. The Sheriff didn't know that the Supreme Court took the 2nd Amendment case and will be ruling in June. I told him I felt like I was being terrorized by my own government. I also told him the first Swat member through the door would have taken a bullet from me and then the other four would have shot me....someone is going to get killed....he gave me a concealed weapons license and he knows what I carry. He assured me NO ONE was taking anybody's guns in this county and if it came to that it will be "Live Free Or Die" around here.

Second stop, The Editor....I went straight in and asked to sit with his butt too and brought him up to speed. I also have him chasing the above mentioned story....I'll keep you posted if I read anything. He was clueless about everything! Immigration, Trade Deals, Executive Branch, you name it, he was clueless.....

Third stop, Clerk & Recorders Office, spent about an hour bringing her up to speed... She assured me our country will be using paper ballots.

Fourth Stop, Ex-Sheriff, brought him up to speed.

Fifth, on a phone - a dozen phone calls to my constitutional friends. I also called all the gun shops in the area (I know them too) and brought all of them up to speed as well.

I stopped at the grainery and then went and handed out slim jims in front of the supermarket with grandson in tow in his wagon. It was 20 degrees here today.

When I say I brought everybody up to speed what I mean is I brought everyone up to Ron Paul today....I got their votes. Oh, I also got a local doctor to put his sign in his window.

What I learned is that it took a major case of road rage running through my blood that got me to take my local "establishment" on. I was amazed how easily I hooked these guys. They didn't know much about many issues. I encouraged everyone today to turn the televisions off and get on the net.

Oh, I went to the Elections offices today too. She said, "Oh, I'd vote for him but they say he can't win". Well, you can imagine where I went when I heard that statement.....brought it all back to the controlled media.

They are believing everything they hear and it's going to take each and everyone of us to set the story straight in our communities.

And yes, I even did the sign thing, big ones, put 4 our.

I'm 53 and semi-disabled....amazing what an old woman can do when she's pissed.

I also made arrangements to run full page colored ads in both local papers, one here and one in Steamboat Springs. I want to run the picture of Dr. Paul wearing his doctor outfit carrying the baby wrapped in a flag. This is how I want to introduce him to my town. They want $1,700 bucks for the ads for one day......that's why I want to keep in touch with the bankrupcy lawyer on this site....

Get mad but don't get even......get ahead. Our local law enforcements, everywhere in this nation are being infultrated by mercenaries who I'm sure will not obey order when given by the sheriff but rather will listen to the President.

Locked and loaded and I sure hope some of you that are younger than me get our tomorrow and terrorize all of you local elected officials.

I meet with the Commissioners in the morning......I'm just warming up guys and I want you all to know how much I appreciate all of you."

Freedomwar: A New Hope

Hope is alive and stronger than ever. I was in Burbank last night at a rally for Ron Paul and the spirit of revolution is spreading like wildfire. Do not listen to what the mainstream media pushes. Hope lost for Ron Paul is hope lost for all of America, and America has a great new hope; Dr. Paul's supporters are growing daily. As a matter of fact at the moment Ron Paul is reportedly carrying 17% of the New Hampshire caucus. The live free or die state is living up to its name.

For example, an impromptu gathering at the Radison hotel in New Hampshire.

Or is this the kind of future you want to create?

Don't think it can or will happen? It already has.

Welcome to 1984...err I mean 2008!

Those in charge and the media have systematically created a chasm between the American people and their government. We are programed to believe one man can't make a difference, and in the scheme of things we have no power. We are programmed to believe that our leaders have our best interests at heart and that even if we disagree, we are just uninformed clods who would have no voice. This is BULLSHIT! I have learned very well that one man can make a difference. That man has shown us our power and given us our voices back. One man has taken it upon himself to teach the people rather than condescend to them. This man is Ron Paul.

Though we may be few, we are tireless. We will carry the message of Dr. Paul, the message of freedom and liberty, with us for the rest of our lives. We will never go back to being apathetic and detached. This land is our land, America, and we will "Live free or die"!

Will you, my friends and brothers, keep your heads in the sand, or will you grab hold of destiny and fight for our rights? Every man woman and child on this planet will be affected by the choices we Americans make, I urge you to make the right one; not for me or for Dr. Paul, but for America and the people of the world.

A soldier's take on Mike Huckabee : Truth

While still recovering from the vomiting I suffered due to Mike Huckabee's speech after the Iowa caucus, I found this video blog of one US soldier. He had also watched the days events, and while I chose to upchuck, he decided to share his voice with us. I ask you to please share this with anybody you can, and help this video get "viral"(fuck I hate that term). While this soldier isn't the most well spoken young man, he has the heart of a patriot and the wisdom of a sage. In honor of this brave young man and his brothers and sisters in arms I now share this with you.

Suck My Caucus

First off, I feel the need to pack up my things and go. I do not think I can ever write again. I can never watch any videos again. Volksgeist trumped anything that can ever be done on or with this blog. I thought we could progress the ideas and thoughts, but alas, no further dialogue is necessary. Golimar is and was and will be the only reason for existence.

Golimar! Seriously, Golimar. I want to say more or analyze it, but can't... Golimar. It flows off the tip of the tongue like a delicate, decadent, delicious desert. Oh the joys of alliteration! Seriously though, I am upset that Volks decided to switch the video to the translation one. Golimar needs no translation sir!!!

I am glad to get that off my chest.

Now, I was forwarded a video which I have not seen yet, and an article I haven't read yet. They are of interest though and I am looking forward to reading these, and viewing all of the Ron Paul videos posted that I have not made time for yet. I also have bookmarked many interesting links that I would like to explore further with you all at a time more convenient.

The results of Iowa are in! My boy Kucinich received a staggering 0%. That is infinitely worse than his last outing in Iowa I believe. Oh well, I had no false illusions that the democratic party would return to a progressive past. Ron Paul surprised folks with 10%! Talk is, he'll do even better in NH.

Most Importantly: Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich will be on Bill Moyers tonight on KCET at 8pm. Bill Moyers' show is probably the most thought provoking show on tv this millenia; I highly urge you all to start DVRing it. Maybe we can set up a weekly viewing party. I also have many backissues of the show on my DVR if you want to view. Let me know what you think. I think it could be a good second step to a more serious dialogue of current events of interest.

Man, I can't wait for this Obama Vs Huckabee 2008 election. Wow, 2 guys I can get really excited about *EXTREME BITTER SARCASM*.

Anyway, I was overdue for a post and wanted to bring the New Year in right. Here's to a jolly 2008!

Golimar !!

This is screamingly funny.

An instant classic.

Just the facts..

Here are some good videos, on the issues.

I know I have been posting a lot of videos about Ron Paul, but I believe we are at a critical time in the history of our country and Ron Paul seems to be what might be our last hope. Also he looks like Gandalf, so thats a plus.

Best One

If you agree with anything this man has to say, I urge you to do your own research and come up with your own conclusions. I also urge you to register as a republican so you can cast your vote in the California primary, and help Ron Paul win the Republican nomination for President of the United States of America. Help take our country back.
